The new chatter tool lets you easily say hello to people without having to scroll through your entire chat history.

After joining a channel when somebody chats they'll be added to the list just once so you can say hello to everyone at the start of your stream. You can click names to dismiss them as you go, or just hit the clear button. Chatters won't be added again unless you hit reset.

Popping off camera for a bit - clear the list and you'll know if any new chatters have joined since you were gone.

The reset button will forget the previous chatters so they'll be added again. If you're signing off then reset and it'll make it easy to see who's saying goodbye.

Tips:

You can use ?channels=X,Y,Z after the url to preload channels and &autojoin=true will save you clicking that button.

This lets you conveniently bookmark new-chatters.html?channels=my_channel&autojoin=true

The Mini view button will give a view good for phones, just make sure you've joined a channel first.
