You'll be prompted for your OBS Websocket login details on first use but after that they'll be saved if you bookmark or reload the page. Use the 'connect' button until you get the right details. If you can't connect then this page is coded for OBS Websockets 4. I'll create a separate page for version 5.
There's no security risk for typing in the password - you can check by going to the glitch page for the tools and seeing it's a static site meaning there's no backend handling. It's all done in the browser using javascript.
Bookmark the page to keep the settings once you've got it setup how you like.
Even better : Copy the URL to an OBS custom dock and it'll automatically start working each time you use OBS. It must be 'active' but it's fine if it's not visible as part of a tab group so you can drag it onto another dock like the chat or transitions and just tab away from it.
Remember if you change any scenes / audio settings then come back here, change any settings and update the dock's URL.
The Mini View button toggles screen clutter. Make sure you've joined your channel first.
Config
:
Permissions: limit to mods, vips, everyone and/or named users you trust
Always allowed: no matter what. E.g. regular non-mods that you trust.
Ignore: always ignored. You can even block yourself or certain mods.
All settings are temporarity saved but bookmarking and updating when you make changes is best.
Tips: Most form changes and "Get Url" saves values to the current url letting you bookmark the page without having to type in everything again. You can even save bookmarks with different settings.
